At September 1865

I have to bring

to

your

notice

two cases in which justice was not only denied

of the Law Courts of this Colony but

me in one

in which

my

- oath was treated with public contempt although I respectfully subunit that written testimony was in the hands of the judge which went far to corroborate my testimony and fully to rebut the evidence of my adversary, was treated as Cospel and on which

which. alone and un.

supported I was cast out of

baurt with contempt .

But my oath was treated as dust in the balance against that of my adversary although the document in the hands of the Caut proved that I spoke the truth and that he did not.

The Right

This surely is a phase of

remedy

Surisprudence which meints a
